St Vincent’s church seats, with a squash, 125 people. The Refectory seats about 30.

The Refectory, with its kitchen attached, and the Chapter House make fine meeting and reception areas. Those who are not members of the congregation are asked to pay for the use of St Vincent’s. A meeting in the Refectory is normally £35, a wedding is normally £400.

St Vincent’s is a charming, intimate baptism, wedding or funeral setting. With a superb city-centre location near to hotels, bus, railway and airport links, St Vincent’s is the perfect place to plan your event, whether you live locally, or are coming to Edinburgh for your special day.

For a wedding check first our website diary – and then an initial meeting with the Rector, Canon Allan Maclean, is appropriate. Nowadays same sex weddings take place – in accordance with the rules of the Scottish Episcopal Church.

Our Director of Music, Les Shankland,  would be delighted to discuss your choice of organ music for baptism, wedding or funeral.

There is no charge for use of St Vincent’s for funerals, although donations are welcome. But there may be additional costs if church personnel are involved.
